From Educare to Soul Blossom Classes
On April 27, 2013, Sairam Foundation in collaboration with Siddhi Memorial Foundation and three students started the first Educare class meeting in Bhaktapur Nepal with over 40 students. In January 2020, the founder of Sairam Foundation decided to make the following changes to the program:
- The values in the stories must be recognizable and applicable to the students. If no suitable story is available, we use stories that we have made ourselves.
- We pay much more attention to putting the values into practice, otherwise the program will be of little use.
- We work more with the students to grow spiritually together.
- From now on the program is called Soul Blossom
The SoulBlossom program uses six teaching techniques to bring out the good qualities of people that are already present in all of us. This will help students develop good character and the world will become more peaceful, loving and safer for all of us.
Van Educare naar Soul Blossom Klassen
Op 27 april 2013 is Sairam Foundation in samenwerking met Siddhi Memorial Foundation en drie studenten met de eerste bijeenkomst van de Educare klas in Bhaktapur Nepal, met ruim 40 studenten begonnen. In januari 2020 heeft de oprichter van Sairam Foundation besloten om de volgende veranderingen te brengen in het programma:
- De waarden in de verhalen moeten herkenbaar en toepasbaar zijn de studenten. Als er geen geschikte verhaal beschikbaar is, gebruiken wij verhalen die wij zelf gemaakt hebben.
- We besteden veel meer aandacht in het in praktijk brengen van de waarden, anders heeft het programma weinig nut.
- We werken meer samen met de studenten om samen spiritueel te groeien.
- Voortaan heet het programma Soul Blossom
Het SoulBlossom programma helpt met behulp van zes lestechnieken het naar buiten brengen van de goede eigenschappen van de mens die reeds in ons allemaal aanwezig is. Hierdoor zullen de leerlingen een goed karakter ontwikkelen en zal de wereld vrediger, liefdevoller en veiliger voor ons allemaal zal worden.
The 6 teaching techniques
During the Soul Blossom classes the emphasis is on one or more sub-values.
A few sub-values: Patience, tolerance, courage, trust, perseverance and honesty.
The students have a chance to develop these values for themselves and to develop good personalities.
By a Soul Blossom lesson we use the following six learning techniques:
1 Talking about a saying or a quote
2 Singing songs together
3 Using moments of silence, meditation, proper breathing and maintaining the right posture
4 Stories from holy books or about Stories about saints and sages or stories from which we can learn
5 Group activities such as circle-conversations (questions and answers), role-playing, dancing, acting, painting and singing
6 Hearth-work: participants are asked to keep an eye on what we have learned today in your daily life in the coming week so that we can share our experiences and learn from each other at the next meeting.
De 6 lestechnieken
Tijdens de Soul Blossom klassen ligt de nadruk op een of meer subwaarden .
Enkele subwaarden: Geduld, verdraagzaamheid, moed, vertrouwen, doorzettingsvermogen en eerlijkheid.
De studenten hebben een kans om deze waarden voor zichzelf te ontwikkelen en een goed karakter te ontwikkelen.
Bij een Soul Blossom les gebruiken we de volgende zes leertechnieken:
1 Praten over een gezegde of een citaat
2 Samen een lied zingen
3 Gebruik van momenten van stilte, meditatie, een juiste ademhaling en het handhaven van de juiste houding
4 Vertellen en praten over heiligen, wijzen en anderen die inspireren door een goed voorbeeld te geven.
5 Groepsactiviteiten zoals cirkelgesprekken (vragen en antwoorden), rollenspel, dansen, acteren, tekenen, schilderen en zingen
6 Hart-werk: aan de deelnemers wordt gevraagd om wat we vandaag geleerd hebben, de komende week in je dagelijkse leven in de gaten te houden, zodat we bij de volgende bijeenkomst onze ervaringen kunnen delen en zo van elkaar leren.

B Duration of a meeting: 40 till 90 minutes, depending on age and number of students.
C For who: Soul Blossom is for all pupils of primary school & Brugklassen (ages +/- 6 to +/- 15 years)
D Costs: Free (a voluntary contribution to our project in Nepal or any charity organization is always good).
E Experience: With the Educare program we have been working in Nepal every week since 27 April 2013. We can also put your child / student in contact with the students from Nepal. The students will be able to learn a lot from each other.

A Wilt u ook kennis maken met het programma: Ouders, Scholen en andere organisaties kunnen contact met ons opnemen, als er belangstelling is.

E Ervaring: Met het Educare programma zijn wij sinds 27 april 2013 wekelijks bezig In Nepal. Uw kind / leerling kunnen we ook in contact brengen met de leerlingen uit Nepal. De leerlingen zullen veel van elkaar kunnen leren.
